About Us

The website KreativniBudoucnost.cz (CreativeFuture.cz) was created as a presentation of the eponymous conference, which took place in 2018. This conference was part of a large-scale project Support of Art Education for Equal Opportunities, which took place between 2017 and 2020. The project was implemented by the Grammar School and Music School of the Capital City of Prague, University of West Bohemia, Portedo o.p.s. and other project partners.

Portedo o.p.s. expanded the originally single-purpose website to include a teacher training offer and a subpage on the new project of the wandering opera The Heart of a Dog. These activities have also been the main focus of Portedo o.p.s. in recent years.

Portedo o.p.s. was founded in 2013. The company's mission is to support arts education in the Czech Republic. Specifically, this includes consulting with the preparation and implementation of school projects, helping to promote schools, offering courses aimed at teachers of art schools and teachers of art subjects in primary and secondary schools, and providing other useful information on the website, in the form of email newsletters and other information channels.

This was followed by a page on teacher education. During the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ´Artists´ and the ´Art School´ pages were created to support the artists. The last item of the website is the newly created promotion of the wandering opera Heart of a Dog.
